DSC 1832 Service Required Trouble
« on: April 24, 2008, 07:32:32 AM »
I'm installing a DSC 1832.  I disabled TLM and set the clock, but still get a message:

SERVICE REQUIRED
GENERAL SYS TMPR

What am I missing?  Thanks!

I'm installing a DSC 1832.
SERVICE REQUIRED
GENERAL SYS TMPR

TMPR = tamper.
Check every system module for "tmp" contact - expecially additional system power supplies and zone expanders. Tmp should be connected to blk or com (simple on ground) with no resistor.

Thanks so much!  Forgot to bridge a tamper contact on expansion board.

The bridge on the expansion module should be solid wire....not a resistor.
